Simplify and improve performance
Use one platform to capture payments, send billing statements, get esignatures on forms, capture photo IDs or insurance card images. Take payments via online portals, email, text, and set up recurring schedules. Track cash, credit card, and ACH payments from one payment management system.
Set up unlimited users and templates
Set up as many users as you need at no additional cost. Create unlimited templates that contain all or any combination of payment forms, documents, esignatures, and photo uploads. Lock down workflows to meet specific department or location needs.
Make self-pay easier
Make it easy for patients to make payments. With a Flow smart request, there is no hunting for a payment portal URL and no username or password. Create customized QR codes for patients to scan, click and pay. Enable consumers to set up their own recurring payment schedules with payment terms you configure.
Segment reporting
Customize to meet your organization’s structure. Set up merchant accounts, users, and payment portals by department, groups, or locations with PDCflow’s organizational hierarchy. Report on all transactions from a single source for all users, locations, and departments.
Use Insight Reports to get a bird’s eye view of payments and cash flow.
Track Flow email and SMS requests
Know with certainty if an email or text was received and opened, and monitor each step of the process with event tracking on every Flow smart request. Pull documented audit reports that include all transaction details.
Stay HIPAA compliant and reduce risk
Dual authentication verifies identity to ensure information is received by the intended recipient. No need to take payment data over the phone. Staff can send a Flow payment request through text or email. Patients enter their own payment data.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
Reduce the time from registration to patient payment collection.
- Capture insurance and billing information
- Know patient payment responsibility
- Give patients easy self-pay options
- Access detailed reporting
- Understand your payment data
Patient opt-in
- Patients opt in to SMS or email communications at first touch – registration.
- Set up one-click Flow requests for staff so they can capture patient insurance and billing information.
- Request patients to upload photo IDs and insurance card images.
- Include a payment form to capture bank account or credit card information. PDCflow verification service automatically confirms payment data accuracy, tokenizes, and stores it for future use.
Verify insurance eligibility
- Use patient registration forms and insurance information gathered from Flow requests to determine insurance eligibility before visits.
- Determine the approximate patient responsibility and communicate it to the patient prior to treatment.
Provide flexibility and convenience
- Accept payments online, over the phone, POS or through web chat and mobile devices.
- Offer a variety of payment methods. ACH, credit card, HSA and flexible spending accounts.
- Set up recurring payment schedules and enable self-serve payment options by balance owed: pay-in-full, pay-in-4, or payments of a minimum amount.
- Add custom and personalized QR codes on billing statements. Patients only need to scan, click, and pay.
- Send a bill through email and SMS so patients can see a breakdown of what they owe after insurance, then make a payment in the same workflow.
Pull audit reports and track the progress of Flow requests
- Patients and staff can access a detailed audit report or receive one via email after a Flow request is completed.
- Report includes: Dual authentication, date/time stamp, method of delivery (email address and/or cell phone number) and a legal wet signature.
- Retrieve at any time. Audit reports are stored for seven years.
- Track the progress on all Flow requests. Know when a request was received, opened, completed or disputed.
- Use organizational hierarchy to track transactions by department, location, or group. Set up multiple merchant accounts based on your business structure.
Track payment performance
- View payments and Flow totals in one place. Read consolidated reporting with daily, monthly, or yearly totals on a single report.
- Simplify end-of-the-month number-crunching. Teams now have better visibility over their account activity, including payments and Flows.
- Spot trends and anomalies in payments by monitoring transaction totals over time.
- Filter Flow totals by employee or origin so management can learn more about Flow Technology usage and monitor success rates.

Don’t just take our word for it.
“Great system. I like the use and the ease of this software! In a digital world, it's great to have the option of emailing receipts or payment plans to patients. I like the alert that comes up that there has already been a payment on a patient account. The automatic payment plans are really nice too, for the patient to see how long it is going to take for them to pay something off. It works for the patient's schedule since they can start and stop a schedule at any time and makes it affordable for patients to pay. We have a link on our website, which has been awesome!”
