California Association of Collectors Sponsored Webinar
February 25, 2020
11:30 am - 12:45 pm PST
The California Consumer Privacy Act became operational as of January 1, 2020, leading the way for other privacy regulation across the U.S.
What does the California Privacy Law mean from a practical operations stand point for your accounts receivable business?
- Do you need to give privacy notices to consumers?
- What should the privacy notice contain?
- Does your agency need a privacy policy? If so, where should that policy live?
- How should your agency handle a request for information from a consumer?
- How should you handle a request to delete information?
Panelists June Coleman of Messer Strickler LTD and Brit Suttell of Barron & Newburger, PC will cover these and more.
This California Privacy Law webinar was held on Tuesday, February 25th from 11:00 am - 12:45 pm EDT.
The PDCflow Team will follow up with information based on webinar information.
